Speaking List for macOS
Narrate List
Use Speaking List to speak text back to you with an optional delay between list items. Useful when you need to turn away from the computer, but can still listen to spoken text reading things back to you. Can be used to translate data from one app to another via manual typing of content once text has spoken. Delay ensures adequate time for manual translation.
Delay Speaking
macOS does have built-in speech for text, but it lacks an important function, having the ability to delay speaking. Which can be vital when listening back to voice content. Speaking List has an adjustable delay, so you can pause voice iteration of lists for brief periods of time.
Adjust Split Type
To translate the text field data into a readable list, 'Speaking List' utilizes a split mechanism, which parses the text field and separates strings into list items by the chosen 'split type'.
